Every fall, the small town of Thomasville comes together to celebrate its most anticipated event of the season: the Annual Autumn Days Festival. TJ Swift House, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, hosted the festival this year! It was full of fun, food, and community spirit while empowering those it serves.
On September 23rd, the Thomasville Community Center was buzzing with exciting activities for all ages. From food trucks and a chili cook-off to pumpkin painting and a 50/50 raffle, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Attendees tried their hand at cornhole and took part in the more adventurous kayak and duck races. We had live music from Dawson Hollow, a local band from the Ozarks. They were a hit!
What makes this festival extra special is that many of the booths are run by TJ Swift House individuals, giving them a chance to showcase their skills and be at the heart of the event. The evening was capped off with fireworks, creating a magical ending to a night filled with laughter and connection. Plus, all proceeds went to the Thomasville Community Center, making it a festival that gives back to the town.
Join us next year for a day of family, friends, and festive fun at Autumn Days!
